Appliance Repair Technician
Job Description
Virginia Appliance Repair LLC(VAR) is seeking to hire full line experienced appliance repair technician. VAR provides an in-home repair on all major brand appliances and as a member of our team you are expected to properly diagnosis and repair appliances as well as provide an exceptional customer service.
Job Requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
Must possess a working mechanical knowledge, including the use of tools and test equipment
Must have the ability to perform accurate repair of Refrigerators, Freezers (sealed and non-sealed systems) and other home appliances such as Washers and Dryers, Gas and Electric Stoves, Microwave Ovens, Dishwashers, Trash Compactors, and Garbage Disposers in the customers' homes.
Basic computer skills are necessary
Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
CFC Certification
Technician's responsibilities include but not limited to:
Providing timely and quality repairs of customers' products and maintaining high-quality customer service and care.
Working on all kinds of home appliances. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and ice makers.
